FAQs
Who is Mission Makers for?
Mission Makers is designed for rising 3rd–5th graders who are bright and capable but may struggle with focus, self-management, and follow-through. It’s a great fit for kids who have ADHD or executive functioning challenges like trouble staying on task, following multi-step directions, managing materials, controlling impulses, or working independently. Your child does not need to have a formal diagnosis of ADHD to enter Mission Makers.
What will my child do in the program?
Instead of worksheets, students tackle hands-on challenges that require planning, problem-solving, teamwork, and flexibility. They receive guidance, immediate feedback, and opportunities to reflect, helping them build skills that stick in school, friendships, and everyday life.
Who leads Mission Makers?
Your child is supported by a state-certified special education educator with over 15 years of experience, providing clear expectations, consistent feedback, and targeted coaching.
Is Mission Makers right for my child?
If your child needs more than reminders and would benefit from guided practice, real-world application, and skill-building in a structured environment, Mission Makers could be a great fit.
Who is Mission Makers NOT for?
This program is not suitable for children who struggle with oppositional defiance, elopement, physical aggression, destructive behaviors, or chronic use of foul language.
